a thousand sighs to fill the pageswhoo. retail therapy is GOOD. it's really GOOD. i havent met a girl [regardless of taste] who doesnt like to shop. Even SARAH WAN YUE YING has succumbed to the joys [and evils] of retail therapy. what am i talking about? let's see ok. went out with vien, jayne and rah yesterday. the idea was : meet for pepper lunch and then go shopping! oh yeah and it was supposed to be some hat day that jayne suggested but it turned out to be a notsogood idea cos nobody wanted to wear it in the end. haha. impractical and unrealistic? no la, jayne's just scared that she'll look funny. =))

so anyway after that duper full lunch at shaw, headed over to far east to shop. oh man regardless of whether you turn left or right in far east everything looks the SAME. that's why they can borrow clothes from each other if they run out of a particular stock. im serious that's what they really do. oh and we shopped for rah too!! so fun so fun let me tell you. vien and jayne just kept throwing clothes at her for her to try la. in the end she did buy some of the things that we chose for her. so nice rah if people say you pretty during CNY must remember to give credit ok =))
managed to get my bottom [FINALLY!] and bought another dress top thingy. bought a belt and a pair of earrings too! the pull throughy xiah lookalike one! haha. wanted to get this other pair of cross earrings but then one side of it was spoilt and they didnt have another one. *annoyisms*
after far east we made our way to wisma/taka/somewhere there, where vien went to her favourite shop but couldnt find anything nice there. and then to isetan and nothing there, though rah bought this real nice pair of white billabong slippers that was so cool and then got this free pearl which they extracted from the oyster. for real! as in like they did the whole extraction thing in front of rah and me and we heard the crack when the knife broke the oyster's shell and we both went 'Ow'. the funny thing was the pearl was eggshaped instead of the usual round one. so cool yeahhh~
oh and in wisma vien went to make this whole engraving on this pendant thingy at moshimoshi which i felt was reallyveally sweet, as i explained to her last night at 12something. it's just the whole act of it and the bond and everything la. aye i dont know how to explain it. according to vien, i give lousy explanations. hmph. i would have gotten one to but as i said, firstly it's expensive. and secondly, he's not really mine, which is a saddening thing but OHWELL, there should be some limit to fantasies i guess.
sat at taka's coffeenbean for a while to talk and chill and rest. afterwhich headed to J8 where vien and jayne bought this rather cute pair of shoes each from bata. vien's one is gold, jayne's one light pink. aiyur if only we had a camera yesterday. was sorely tempted to buy this trendy zone shoe but i decided to wait for my mom. haha. oh and when we were in zara/topshop in wisma/taka rah and i saw 2 pairs of shoes that were real nice but guess what they cost like $60! i dont think shoes should be worth so much can, they're afterall gonna get all dirty cos you use to them to like you know WALK.

headed home, had fish beehoon for dinner, and went over to ahgou's house to see my aunt and uncle and cousin who just came back from canada for a month-long visit. whoo. my 8-year old cousin's so sweet and pretty and my auntie was like commenting that i'd grown to become so GENTLE and PRETTY. hahaha big laughs. ok since she wants to say that i have no objections. =))
GRR i dont like having to choose a JC, weighing out the benefits and disadvantages, comparing subject combis and teachers and all that enchillada. UGHHH. so just pick for us the school already, and let us skip this whole process of choosing cos it's really annoying and i dont like it
